KENT DANCE FESTIVAL 2008: Bedlam 'Doing, Done and Undone'
£11 & £8 concessions
Age: No age restrictions
Running Time: 100 minutes (inc 20 minute interval)
‘Doing, Done and Undone’ is the newest work from Yael Flexer’s critically acclaimed Bedlam
Dance Company. Constructed as a triptych and danced by six superb performers, Doing,
Done and Undone is a dance that gradually unfurls. Moving from the functional to the frenetic it considers the ways in which we are inevitably tied to one another.
Blending fast-paced intricate choreography, and an informal sense of humour, Doing, Done &
Undone questions what we do to others, what is done to us and how this makes us come undone.
Under the direction of Jerwood Dance Award winner Yael Flexer, Bedlam Dance Company has been creating critically acclaimed dance for the past 14 years. Originally formed by Yael as Choreographer in Residence at The Place Theatre, the company tours extensively throughout the UK and internationally.
"dance that is unforced, unaffected, charming and smart" (Time Out)
